2. During a heavy snow fall, please keep an open path to your oil fill. Difficult driveways must be cleared also (plowed/sanded).

FAQIs your website secure?
Yes. All credit card transactions are done through Tiger Processing one of the industry leaders in credit card security! Why was my credit card charged before the delivery was made? When an order is placed the charge is put through on your card. When an order is placed for a fill we charge an amount large enough to cover the gallons you may take. Once the delivery has been made and we know the exact amount a refund is done to your card should you not take the full amount. This is the quickest way to secure payment and not tie up unnecessary funds for a pre authorization (some banks could take several days to remove a pre authorization!) When will you schedule my delivery? All orders are scheduled for delivery with in three (3) business days. However, most deliveries will be made on the next business day; depending on the volume of deliveries in your area and any type of weather conditions that might affect safe travel. Berkshire Fuel will get your delivery there safely and securely. Do I have to be home at the time of delivery? Rarely – unless you prefer to be there or have special circumstances, there is no need for you to be home. Our delivery man will leave your slip in the door. (Sorry, per U.S. Postal regulations, we cannot leave your slip in the mailbox.) After I ordered my oil the price went down. Can I get the lower price? Your price is set when you submit your order. We don’t increase your price when the cost of oil goes up after your order and we cannot go down either. |

Hello there. Thanks so much for delivering our first batch of oil on Friday -- that was fast! The last oil company we had told us that the gauge on our tank was broken, and when we knocked on the tank, it sounded empty, so we thought it was going to be able to take at least 125 gallons -- especially since the last time we filled up was in the spring. When your very kind service guy came on Friday, he explained how to reset the gauge. As it turns out, we were 3/4 full, and could only take 55 gallons. He said not to worry and that he'd top us off anyhow, but I wonder how the billing is handled since we pre-paid.
